Mental Health Session with The Pinnacle of Purpose

On September 20th, the SMOOOTH Transition Program held a powerful session on mental health, featuring guest speakers from The Pinnacle of Purpose. The session provided a safe space for women in our program to explore self-care, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Through open discussions and practical tools, participants gained valuable insights into navigating life’s challenges with confidence. It was an inspiring day dedicated to personal growth and empowerment, aligning with our mission to uplift women in our community.


 

Financial Literacy Session with FIG Restoration

On October 18th, the SMOOOTH Transition Program hosted an insightful Financial Literacy session led by FIG Restoration, focusing on credit consulting and debt management. This session provided participants with practical tools and strategies to better understand their financial health.

FIG Restoration's experts walked through the essentials of building and repairing credit, as well as effective debt management techniques. Participants learned actionable steps to take control of their finances, empowering them to make informed financial decisions and achieve greater stability.

This session was a key part of our mission to equip women with the knowledge and confidence to create a secure financial future.


 

Women’s Health Session with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast

On November 15th, the SMOOOTH Transition Program partnered with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast for an empowering Women’s Health session. The focus was on understanding women’s bodies, the importance of regular health check-ups, and exploring affordable healthcare options.

Participants received valuable insights into preventative care, reproductive health, and resources available to them for low-cost services. The session emphasized the importance of proactive health management and provided practical advice on accessing affordable care.

This informative event was a crucial step in our commitment to supporting women’s well-being and ensuring they have the resources needed for a healthier future.
